French pianist, Isabelle Oehmichen, perform in recital, with orchestra or in chamber music, in France and in many countries (Great Britain, USA, Canada, Poland, Romania, Czech Republic, Finland , Spain, Germany, Netherlands, Hungary….). She had the opportunity to play in several prestigious places: birthplace of Chopin (recital filmed for Polish television) or the second Concerto of Saint-Saëns, at the Franz Liszt Academy in Budapest live for national radio.

First Grand Prize of the International Milosz Magin Competition 1989 and Laureate of the Cziffra Foundation 1993, she has recorded 13 CDs, with original or unpublished programs, including concertos by Weiner or Wissmer, unpublished works by Henri Collet or Henri Sauguet, the Nocturnes by Czerny in world premiere…

Near her activity as a concert performer, Isabelle Oehmichen is also a teacher and provides Master Classes. She was also part of the Artistic Committee of the Cziffra Foundation for many years and ensured its artistic leadership from 2017 to 2019.

In August 2022, she will lead the 20th session of the International Academy of Chamber Music in Budapest, which she created in 2002.

She will return for the third time to be the Jury-leader of the San Diego International Piano Competition in California and will give there concerts in June 2022.

Artistic director of the Franco-Hungarian Musical Association (A.M.F.H.) in Paris, Isabelle Oehmichen founded in 2006, the « Trio Primavera » with two Hungarian musicians Andrea Schuster, violinist, and Ladislav Szathmary, cellist.
